Honoring the San Francisco Leather Legacy!

The awarding of the Mr. San Francisco Leather title began in 1982, igniting a tradition that has stood the test of time. Over 43 remarkable years, this cherished contest has only missed five opportunities to bring our community together.

In 2025, we celebrate this enduring legacy by awarding the 40th titleholder—a momentous milestone in our shared history.

As the second-longest-running title after IML, Mr. San Francisco Leather represents more than a contest; it’s a symbol of resilience, camaraderie, and passion.

Today, we honor the hundreds of incredible men who have graced these stages, each leaving their mark and contributing to the vibrant tapestry of our community’s story.

Congratulations Tracii Ross More

David Kloss Representing The Brig and the very 1st International Mr Leather

The 2025 Mr. San Francisco Leather title will be dedicated in honor of the late David Kloss, a true pioneer who made history as the first to represent San Francisco at International Mr. Leather (IML) in 1979—and the very first to claim the title of IML.

David’s passing is a profound loss, but as we usher in a new chapter, we do so by honoring the very foundation on which this legacy stands. David, you were the beginning, the trailblazer, and the heart of it all. Your spirit will forever live on in the leather community, inspiring those who follow in your footsteps.
